Making Tulips Out Of Crepe Paper
Much of our suffering is "self-created" by means of exaggeration and drama. We return all what is not, and relativized it really is importance. Grave error. Rarely we realize that what we usually spend "no big deal" and then we have to increase our amount of suffering because we think too much on ourselves. In any case, if what we are suffering is real, does not it make more sense to focus on the solution not the problem? But most find it productive to think on their problems rather than on possible solutions, perhaps because it is easier that way.
As we prepare to "relativize" what happens to us we set conditions for personal change that generates the solution. And we can relativize when we change our frame of reference "existential." For example, when we consider our problem in perspective and found that within 10 years or even more interference there will be what happens to us now, or when we imagine the suffering of people who have lost much more than us - or have lost everything!, or when we place our problems in the light of eternity ... whatever, to change our frame of reference is a good exercise for us not exaggerate what happens.
After all, as Milton Friedman once said: "In the long run we are all dead."
